The Fucking Awfuls are a three-piece, AI punk band created in Perth, Western Australia. The band is made up of Mick Razor (guitar/vocals), Danny Static (bass/vocals), and Lee Kerosene (drums/keys/vocals).

Their music is an artificial, no-holds-barred piss-take of Australian culture as it’s actually experienced — loud, hypocritical, turbulent, sunburnt, politically incorrect, over-advertised, under-delivered, and fuelled by cheap booze and bad decisions. Blending fast, abrasive punk with blunt, in-your-face humour, The Fucking Awfuls tear into everything from performative patriotism, political failures, media bullshit to suburban misery and the slow rot of “she’ll-be-right” complacency.

There’s no nostalgia, no polish, and no moral high ground — just short, savage songs meant to be played too loud in all the wrong places. If you can’t laugh at how fucked it’s all become, you may as well scream about it.

The Fucking Awfuls will leave you with no doubt that the blurring of what is real and artificial is with us and here to stay. It is artificial music for an artificial age.
